Clubgrants Category 3 fund
The Clubgrants Category 3 Fund was established to deliver funding to communities across NSW to support healthy lifestyles through increased participation in sport, recreation, arts and cultural activities. Funding can be sought for major projects or services related to community infrastructure.
The fund is managed by Liquor & Gaming NSW.
Registered clubs earning over $1 million each year in gaming machine profits contribute 0.4 per cent of that revenue to the Clubgrants Category 3 Fund. Over the last two years, their contribution has delivered approximately $27 million to communities across NSW through the enhancement of sport and community infrastructure and emergency relief facilities.
Over the next four years, the NSW Government has committed to provide $50 million in Clubgrants Category 3 project funding - including $8 million a year for sport and recreation projects, $2.5 million a year for cultural projects, and $2 million a year for emergency relief facilities.
