The Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority (Authority) approved the application under section 34 of the Gaming Machines Act 2001 (Act) for a gaming machine threshold increase of 10 (from 0 to 10) for Headlands Hotel, Headland Ave, AUSTINMER, NSW 2515, LIQH400122195.
The Authority has approved under section 36 of the Act the associated Local Impact Assessment (LIA), subject to the following conditions:
i. By 13 February 2017, the Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority has been provided with evidence that the premises are complete and ready to trade, that the premises have an internal floor space of not less than 400 square metres, and a copy of the Occupation Certificate is provided to the Authority.
ii. All gaming machine entitlements to be transferred to the Hotel as a result of the approval of this threshold increase application must be transferred from hotels located in Band 2 or Band 3 metropolitan local government areas.
Note: the application was provisionally approved on 13 February 2015, subject to the following additional condition:
i. Within the next 24 months, the Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority has been provided with evidence that a total of $75,000 has been donated as community contributions - $30,000 to Austinmer Public School and $45,000 to Coledale Hospital.
This condition was satisfied on 8 August 2016.
