Welcome to the new Liquor & Gaming NSW website, providing essential regulatory information in one convenient location. This website replaces the former Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing (OLGR) and Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority (ILGA) websites.
Liquor & Gaming NSW, a division of the Department of Justice, is the new fit-for-purpose regulator, undertaking the work previously performed by the OLGR and ILGA staff.
The creation of Liquor & Gaming NSW is part of the NSW Government’s reform of the liquor and gaming industries. It aims to significantly improve licensing processes and efficiency, reduce confusion, enhance service quality and customer convenience, and improve communication with stakeholders. The creation of the new regulator will ensure that decision making and processes are aligned with the government’s goals and properly support government harm reduction policies. Importantly, it will also deliver a strengthened focus on minimising alcohol and gambling-related harm in the community.
The new website features a brand new layout and accessible navigation, making it easier to find the liquor and gaming regulatory information you require, all in one convenient location. We encourage you to explore the site and update any bookmarks or links to the new website address.
