The Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority (Authority) approved an application under section 34 of the Gaming Machines Act 2001 (Act) for a gaming machine threshold increase of two (from 27 to 29) for El Toro Motor Inn, LIQH400106734.

The Authority has approved under section 36 of the Act the associated Local Impact Assessment (LIA), subject to the following conditions:

i. The gaming machine entitlement transferred to El Toro Motor Inn as a result of the approval of this gaming machine threshold increase application must be transferred from hotels located in Band 2 or Band 3 metropolitan Local Government Areas (LGAs).

ii. By 30 May 2017 El Toro Motor Inn must provide evidence to the Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority that it has made a payment of $40,000, as an LIA contribution, to Liverpool Hospital.​​
