To sell, serve or supply alcohol in NSW, you need a liquor licence. A liquor licence allows you to sell serve or supply liquor as part of your business activity, or at an event. There are seven different liquor licences available in NSW.

When is a liquor licence not required?

A liquor licence isn't required in some circumstances, such as at retirement villages, hospitals, and nursing homes and auctions.
