The Byron Bay Liquor Accord in partnership with Liquor & Gaming NSW is offering all RSA Competency Card holders an opportunity to sharpen their skills and enhance their customer service.
The "RSA and Frontline Staff" workshop will be held at the Elements of Byron resort at 144 Bayshore Drive, Byron Bay from 5pm on 11 May.
The workshop will run for two hours, and will include interactive and insightful presentations including case studies on various topics to ensure the responsible service of alcohol on licensed premises to avoid alcohol-related harm.
The range of topics to be discussed include alcohol-related violence, intoxication and preventing intoxication, identifying risk factors in venues, detecting minors and fake IDs, customer service, regulatory tools and latest legislation.
All RSA Holders are encouraged to attend. There is no cost to attend the workshop, however participants are asked to register now to secure a spot by emailing the Byron Bay Liquor Accord at Bblacaresforourcommunity@gmail.com
Separately, Liquor & Gaming NSW in conjunction with the Tweed/Byron Police Local Area Command licensing unit will be meeting with regional liquor accords from 10-12 May to discuss local initiatives, including the Tweed Valley, Brunswick Valley, Byron Bay and Tweed Heads/Coast Liquor Accords.
