Community Access

Liquor & Gaming NSW has a dedicated community access team who are committed to improving understanding and access to local liquor and gaming licensing processes and decisions for NSW communities.

What does the community access team do?

The team works with community groups and individuals to help them understand how to make a contribution to the liquor and gaming licence application process, and about the ways to have a say and stay informed on licensing decisions and make a contribution to policy reviews. 

The team provides information on a range of topics:

  • How feedback contributes to a liquor or gaming licence decision
  • How to find liquor licence applications in your area
  • How you can have your say
  • What you can do if your local licensed venue wants to add more gaming machines (pokies) to their gaming room
  • Who to talk to about noise disturbances
  • Access information on liquor and gaming programs.
