Occasional Extended Trading Notification form

If you have a multi-occasion extended trading authorisation or an occasion extended trading condition, you may trade late in accordance with your authorisation, 12 times over a 12-month period.

Notify us of the dates you wish to extend your trading time to 3am (or such earlier time authorised), by completing this form.

MOETA

You must notify L&GNSW at least six weeks in advance of any function date. The MOETA attracts an annual loading of $1,281.

This option is available for regional venues that:

  • are authorised to trade past midnight, but rarely do
  • would like to reduce their trading hours fee
  • have standard trading hours
  • would like to occasionally trade past midnight.

OETC

Prior to lodging this notification, ensure that you have OET conditions already applied to your licence. If you do not have the conditions, apply for them first. You must notify L&GNSW at least 14 days in advance of any function date. The OETC does not attract an annual loading.

This option is available for all venues that:

  • are authorised to trade past midnight, but rarely do
  • would like to reduce their trading hours fee
  • have an extended trading authorisation or unrestricted trading
  • would like to occasionally trade past midnight or 1.30am.
