New guideline on the Class 2 Local Impact Assessment process

The Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority (ILGA) has issued Guideline 12 - Class 2 Local Impact Assessment process PDF, 519.72 KB.

Guideline 12 PDF, 519.72 KB gives gaming machine applicants and the public more information, to help them understand things including:

• how to apply for a Gaming Machine Threshold (GMT) increase and preparing a Class 2 Local Impact Assessment (LIA)*
• how to make a submission on a Class 2 LIA
• what ILGA considers is an ‘overall positive impact’ on a local community
• conditions ILGA might impose on Class 2 LIA approvals.
