The NSW Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority (ILGA) Board has resolved to replace the Parramatta Leagues Club board with a temporary administrator, Max Donnelly of Ferrier Hodgson.

The ILGA Board was of the opinion that the club's board had ceased to be effective as a governing body.

The decision follows an application by Liquor & Gaming NSW.

The ILGA Board wishes to make clear that the appointment of a temporary administrator does not relate to any suggestion of insolvency.

The temporary administrator will remain in place until the ILGA Board otherwise orders.
