The NSW Government is aware the hospitality industry has lost many experienced hospitality and security staff due to COVID-19 pandemic. On 30 June 2022, Liquor & Gaming NSW brought together industry stakeholders and representatives from key government agencies to discuss staff shortage concerns and work towards practical solutions.
A report of the roundtable documents the issues and discussions on the day, as well as the possible solutions identified. The report also documents the NSW Government initiatives already implemented to assist the hospitality industry recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
A plan of action with practical solutions to support a safe and sustainable recovery of the hospitality industry has also been developed.
