Liquor & Gaming NSW have developed a new Licensee Refresher online course covering the requirements for licensees, approved managers, and club secretaries to renew their Licensee, Advanced Licensee, and RSA endorsements in the one course, for the one fee.
Initial Licensee training courses were introduced under the Tiered Industry Training Framework (TITF) and launched in 2019. Renewal of Licensee and Advanced Licensee endorsements is required every 5 years, therefore, 2024 introduces the first round of Licensee renewals.
The Licensee Refresher online course is now live and consists of 6 learning modules with assessments throughout. It covers a range of content designed to educate and refresh, on key compliance areas and new industry developments. The content and approach have been supported through consultation and comprehensive review with subject matter experts and industry representatives.
Liquor & Gaming NSW is the only provider of the new Licensee Refresher online course.
What does this mean for me?
You must renew your Licensee endorsement prior to your competency card expiry date. If you hold more than one endorsement, all expire on the same date.
You will receive email and SMS renewal reminders containing a link to the course for approximately three (3) months before your competency card is due to expire.
If you also have a RCG and/or ARCG endorsement, you will need to complete the RCG refresher separately. Further information on the RCG and ARCG courses can be found here.
What do I need to do?Check if your contact details are up to date here to manage your competency card. You will need the email or mobile number on record to proceed. Alternatively, you can contact us on 1300 024 720.
When you receive the email or SMS notifications from L&GNSW prior to your competency card expiry, click the licensee refresher course link to access and launch the course and renew all your Licensee endorsements. If applicable, the link will also guide you to complete your RCG refresher course.
